COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
TRI-COUNTY
SQUARES dancers are involved in the
community.
* They promote FUN, FRIENDSHIP, and FITNESS through DANCE.
* They provide entertainment at nursing homes, adult day care activities, senior centres, and retirement centres.
* They take part in entertainment at community events,
*They support the Helping Hands Food Bank in their Thanksgiving Food Drive and the Salvation Army in its Christmas Toy Drive.
*For ten years they raised funds for Camp Trillium-Rainbow Lake through an yearly benefit event in the spring at the Camp site. Also part of this fundraising effort was the Gently Used Square Dance Clothing Sale held prior to one of their regular club dances earlier in the year.
